Chadwick Kellenbarger, Senior Minister
Chadwick came to Eastpointe in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree from Kentucky Christian University. He was the Worship Minister at Eastpointe for nearly 7 years and Associate Minister after that. In May 2010, Chadwick became the Senior Minister at the church. He oversees the preaching, church staff, and—along with the other elders—directs and communicates the vision for our church.
In 2001, Chadwick married his high school sweetheart, Nicole, who is a vital help in his ministry roles. In 2005, their beautiful daughter, Grace Louise, was born. If you're looking to strike up a conversation with Chadwick, you'll never go wrong talking about all things Apple (iPhones, iPads, and Macs) or the Minnesota Vikings, his favorite football team. (No, he's not from Minnesota.)
Adam Washington, Student Minister
Adam has been on the ministry staff since July 2007 but has been attending Eastpointe his whole life. Graduating in 2004 from Otterbein College with a degree in Sociology and minor in Psychology, his education appropriately took him into the field of... auditing (who really works with their degree?!?!). When the opportunity arose to serve at his home church as the Youth Minister overseeing 7th-12th grade, he simply couldn't resist (kid at heart!).
He and his wife Shannon live in Reynoldsburg with their daughter, Lilly and son Cameron. Adam enjoys being with his family, traveling, sports, cleaning his ears with a Q-tip after showering, riding motorcycles... oh, and Michigan football! He does not enjoy long lines at Walmart in the "20 Items or Less" line, the itchy feeling you get in the back of your throat sometimes, birds, and seeing a show on cable that you want to watch, only to find out you don't get it (darn you National Geographic channel)!
Laura Begue, Office Manager
Laura became Eastpointe's Office Administrator in October 2012 after working at Starbucks for many years. She has a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication from Ohio University and is currently attending the University of Dayton for a Masters in Clinical Counseling. At Eastpointe, Laura serves as the office receptionist, maintains the church calendar, and creates weekly bulletins and Eastpointe's monthly newsletter. Laura loves meeting new people and answering any questions you have about Eastpointe!
Laura has been attending Eastpointe with her family since she was a young girl, and has been involved in the music ministry for many years. When she's not creating bulletins or playing music, she can be found cooking, playing with Louie the cat (yes, she likes cats), watching episodes of MST3K, and drinking lots of coffee.
