Scott Russell | Worship Pastor
Scott was hired as the Worship Pastor at Eastpointe in June 2013. He has been called to serve God in many ways through his life: he has been a counselor, science teacher, student worship leader, and a church planter. He is passionate about creating environments where people can worship God openly and honestly through the arts. Scott enjoys reading, backpacking, studying tai chi & kung fu, and of course playing the guitar and singing!
He is married to his best friend, Holly, and has two amazing daughters, Ruby & Lydia, whom he loves making laugh as much as possible. He enjoys a wide range of music – from Motown to Metal – and when he's not listening to Praise & Worship you're likely find him rocking out to Incubus or Artifex Pereo (air guitar, drums, & bass included). His favorite (non-metal) 80's song is "Head Over Heels" by Tears for Fears.
Andre Norman | Family Pastor
André joined our staff team in January 2015. André grew up in a small town near Canton, Ohio. He graduated in 1999 from Geneva College, a small Christian college in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania and has been in full-time ministry ever since. André has served in ministry in the areas of outreach, children’s ministry, youth, sports, college age, pastoral care and really, however he can be used in the church! For André, ministry is all about having a great TEAM!
Andre's personal team consists of his beautiful wife, Audra and two wonderful children: Avery and Brooks. Audra serves with Lifeline Christian Mission in Westerville as their Lovelink Child Sponsorship Director. Both André and Audra have both been involved with Lifeline Christian Mission since they took their first mission trip to Grand Goave, Haiti back in 2001. They are both excited to be involved with an organization that has such a heart for fulfilling the Great Commission!
Andre's goal at Eastpointe is to make you smile and encourage you. He loves to have fun and is only serious about half of the time… seriously! It won’t take you long to figure out that he enjoys sports and staying active... especially basketball, golf or softball. Most of all, André loves the Lord and feels compelled to live out God’s calling to love others and to share God’s Good News of Jesus Christ!

He was baptized in 1973 and joined Eastpointe in 2013. Mike and his wife both lead LifeGroups and have volunteered in Children’s ministry, VBS and community outreach events. He has a passion for making disciples and serving. Mike picks up left-over Panerea Bread once a week and delivers it to HEART food pantry. Mike is the Central Ohio coach for the Bill Glass Behind the Walls prison evangelism outreach and has thus far been allowed to leave all fifteen or so Ohio prisons he has visited. He is a fitness nut and enjoys restoring vintage metal Tonka toys in his spare time.

Don came to Eastpointe in 2006 as a baptized believer. He is a coach for three basketball teams for Crossover Basketball at Eastpointe and enjoys playing basketball, fishing and camping.
Stephen Simms has been an elder since January 2006. He became a member of Eastpointe when he was baptized on May 6, 1962. He and his wonderful wife, Penny, live east of the church and have been married for forty two years. They have one son, Benjamin, and three grandsons, Joseph, Philip, and David. Stephen is retired from a career in both commercial construction and property maintenance; he has helped lead several construction projects at Eastpointe and currently oversees our Facility and Grounds Ministry. He has taught junior high Sunday school classes for many years and has volunteered with Vacation Bible School. He has also been involved in our Men’s Ministry, Missions Ministry, Ushers and Servers Ministry, and our Hospital Visitations Ministry. Stephen believes Jesus doesn't call for the church to make "workers" but “disciples." True disciples become workers out of their growing love for Jesus and others.

Jason has been designing digital things for over 20 years and currently works as a User Experience Designer at Northwoods, helping make software for social workers and human services agencies. He also helps with CrossOver Basketball, running the sound board, and other "creative" jobs around the church. Jason is a Cavs and Indians fan (yes, the Browns were intentionally omitted...) and studies Taekwondo with his son Drew for fun!
